Honor, the sub brand of Huawei, rolled out Honor Band 3, its fitness tracker, last month with its handset Honor 8 Pro. The firm has now declared that the band is up for sale. Having a price tag of Rs 2,799, the Honor Band 3 comes in Classic Navy Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Carbon Black color variants and is solely obtainable on Amazon.
The Honor Band 3 is available with a POLED 0.91-inch display with a pixel resolution of 128 x 32. The device sports a heart rate monitor and is resistant to water up to 50 Meters. Linked through Bluetooth, the fitness band is well-matched with both iOS and Android operating systems.
Once linked to the smartphone, the band informs the user about calls and allows them to operate it from the device itself. In addition to this, the band will also quiver for Facebook, Twitter, messages, emails, and more along with calendar alerts. It also comes integrated with vibrations for smart alarm clock that wake you without alarming. The band can be utilized for swimming and has a mode for the same.
Having a dimension of 10.3 mm x 43 mm x 16.5 mm, the device has M4 core technology that allows backup for floating-point operations. It is also comes with an optimized algorithm to calculate precise rate of heart. The fitness band is supported by a 105 mAh battery that pledges to give 30 days of battery backup in a single charge.
Lately, Huawei rolled out two new fitness bands, Band 2 Pro and Band 2. Huawei Band 2 Pro and Band 2 provide 24 x 7 monitoring of heart rate. The Band 2 comes with VO2 Max tech that calculates the quantity of oxygen an individual can consume.
Both devices are resistant to water. Both of them come with a unique water-proofing tech, 5ATM, which defends them for almost 50 meter within the water. They carry a PMOLED display and are well-matched with handsets operating on Android 4.4 and above versions.
The Band 2 Pro is integrated with in-built Sports Coach feature, GPS, and TruSleep—the virtual sleep hygiene of Huawei. They also come with a unique feature that provides directions on breathing for calming effects. This feature is dubbed as Breathing Coach.
