Uber to Rollout Ola Money Rival in India This Month

It appears that Uber, the cab service provider, is all geared up to roll out its personal and own mobile wallet. The company has rolled out invites for an introduction event that will be conducted in August where it will supposedly reveal its mobile wallet. On the other hand, the firm has not yet declared a tad bit information regarding the same, but going as per the invite, we think it will rollout such service. The invite says, “Uber cordially invites you to be a part of a landmark moment when millions will join the digital payment revolution.”

According to the invite, the firm has also associated with most of the banks, which additionally confirms that it may roll out its personal and own wallet.

Lately, a report also came out online that Amazon and Uber are setting up to accept the UPI (Unified Payment Interface) via incorporation with the BHIM app. This information was given by the NCPI (National Payment Corporation of India) to the media in an interview.

As per a report by the local media, AP Hota, CEO of NPCI, claimed that UPI transactions will assist the Uber drivers to make transactions to Uber with the help of UPI. Ola, the main rival of Uber, has previously incorporated UPI this year in April.

Uber lately rolled out “Uber for Business” in India. The main goal of the firm behind this roll out is to provide companies a well organized way to improve employees’ experience and handle their business travel.
